Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)

St George’s Dragons PTFA is a group of enthusiastic parents and carers who organise fundraising and social events to provide additional funds that benefit pupils – through fun activities and valuable resources that support their learning and wellbeing.

Events we’ve organised in the past include:

  • School Discos
  • Christmas & Summer Fairs
  • Christmas Card Designing
  • Outdoor Cinema
  • Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea
  • Father’s Day Games Afternoon
  • Golden Ticket Chocolate Bar Event
  • Sports Day Refreshments

Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to help the school by funding:

  • A new minibus
  • New playground equipment
  • New books and classroom resources
  • Games and toys for lunchtime
  • Year 6 leavers’ books
  • And much more!

We’ve also provided fun extras for the children, such as:

  • Ice poles on Sports Day
  • Christmas selection boxes
  • Ice cream and bouncy castle fun days
  • Rockkidz Rock Star Day

As children grow and move on from the school, the PTFA is always in need of new members to keep the momentum going. Our current team is actively seeking new members, and at the moment, fundraising and events are running at a minimum.  We understand that parents have busy lives, and involvement in the PTFA can be as much or as little as you like. Every bit of support makes a difference!
