Aspirational opportunities for all, through the breath of God

Prospective Parents

Welcome to St George's Primary School, we hope that this page will give you a flavour of what we are like as a school community and what we can offer your child during their time at St George's.

We are immensely proud of the education our pupils receive and the experiences they gain during their time at St George's. We work closely in partnership with parents to ensure that pupils have aspirational opportunities in all aspects of their school life.

Please watch the film below to get a quick overview of the school. We welcome all enquiries and would be happy to answer any questions you have. Please contact the school office on 01795 877667 or alternatively email office@st-georges-sheppey.kent.sch.uk. You can also reach us via our Facebook Page @StGeorgesIOS

An introduction to St George's Primary school, please watch this video to get a flavour of the life of our school.

Unfortunately due to Lockdown and Tier 3 restrictions we are unable to run our usual school tours for admissions to Primary school in 2021. We have created a video tour of our Early Years classes and provision, please see below. In addition you will also see a PowerPoint created by our Early Years staff which gives an overview of the teaching as pupils begin their school journey.

Early Years Presentation

St George's is a two form entry school, which means that each year we can accept 60 pupils into our Early Years classes, Willow and Pine. Although the pupils are are placed into separate classes some aspects of the provision is mixed, for example both classes use the same outside space and therefore pupils are able to mix regardless of the class they are placed in.

Classes are taught by a class teacher with the support of an assistant - please look at our staff list to see who teaches which class.

For more information regarding the admissions process and how pupils are awarded a place at St George's please take a look at our admissions page. Further information can also be found in the Prospectus which is available to download.
