By gathering them to Him he showed them all LOVE Matthew 14:18. Jesus showed this through his compassion for the whole community when he gathered the crowds to him.
We are very aware that for pupils joining our school in September 2021 transition will be different to what we anticipated or usually have in place.
We are working hard to ensure that all of your questions and concerns about your child starting Primary school are answered. It is always a big step when you wave your child off to school, be it with your first child or after many years experience. Each child is unique and each family have their own worries. Even in the current climate we are all here to answer any questions you may have and make the whole transition process supportive.
We look forward to welcoming you into the St George's family.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions - there is no silly question you could ask, or one we haven't heard before.
We will be sending you letters and videos to support you in this next phase of your childs education, please see below for copies of this information. We look forward to working with you over the next 7 years.
If you have recieved a place at our school you will be sent a 'starter pack'. This contains all of the initial information you will need about the school and forms to fill in which provide the school with the information we need to know about you and your child. This information will be emailed directly to you, however a copy is also available to download here if you need.
Meet the Early Years Team
Welcome from our Early Years Team. Our Teachers have prepared a short video about themselves to share with your child. Mrs Adlam is our Early Years Lead and teaches Pine Class, Mrs Whiter teaches Willow Class. They will be supported by Mrs Lawrence and Mrs Tyler our Teaching Assistants who have created videos of themselves reading a story to be shared with your child. There is also a PowerPoint presentation for parents which provides more information about how the classes and curriculum are run - please make sure that you press the audio button on the PowerPoint to hear Mrs Adlam speaking.
