We would normally be inviting you into our school to meet the staff. Mr Fisher, our headteacher has prepared a short video for you to watch.

We are very aware that for pupils joining our school in September 2020 transition will be different to what we anticipated or usually have in place.

We are working hard to ensure that all of your questions and concerns about your child starting Primary school are answered. It is always a big step when you wave your child off to school, be it with your first child or after many years experience. Each child is unique and each family have their own worries. Even in the current climate we are all here to answer any questions you may have and make the whole transition process supportive.

We look forward to welcoming you into the St George's family.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions - there is no silly question you could ask, or one we haven't heard before.

We will be sending you letters and videos to support you in this next phase of your childs education, please see below for copies of this information. We look forward to working with you over the next 7 years.

Below is some 'child friendly' information to support your child's transition into school, in readiness for September.

Please share this information with them, we feel it will help prepare them for what their classroom and school looks like and some of things they will experience when they come to St George's. We are mindful that transition has not followed our typical process due to Covid-19 and hope that this social story will support your child throughout the summer.
